1. What curriculum is offered at IISC?

Ans: IISC School offers curriculum that is prescribed by Central Board of Secondary Education, which under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India and uses NCERT text books as prescribed by CBSE.

2. What documents are required for admissions?

Ans: For admission in Pre-Primary section, the following documents are required.

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Aadhar Number of the student
  3. Report Card of the previous class (If any)
  4. Vaccination Certificate( optional)

For Primary and High school, the following documents are required.

  1. Report Card of the previous class
  2. Aadhar Number of the student
3. What is the teacher to student ratio?

Ans: The teacher to student ratio in each class is 1: 40 in the Primary and above sections. In the Pre-Primary it is 1: 35

4. What is the mode of payment of fees?

Ans: The registration fee should be paid in cash. The rest of the fees can be paid by cash or cheque at the office or the bank and can also pay by online payment modes, like RGTS, NEFT etc.

5. What is the qualification of the teaching staff?

Ans: The qualification is as per the guidelines stipulated by the CBSE in its by-laws. IISC believes in quality not quantity. Hence, the aim at the time of recruiting the teachers is the quality, skill, talent and passion towards children.

6. Do teachers undergo any training program?

Ans: Yes, our teachers undergo periodic trainings programs both organized internally by the institute as well as the sessions organized by CBSE for different subjects, in a year.

7. What does the school do, when a child is sick or unwell?

Ans: Teachers ensure that such sick or unwell students are rested in the ‘Sick Room’. The parents are informed immediately. Such children are dropped to their homes with the permission of the parents. Teachers are always alert and trained to identify weak children.

8. How can parents contact or connect with the school?

Ans: The school is in constant contact with the parents, through the Record Book. Parents can also contact the school authorities, through the Record Books and emails. During emergencies, parents can call the office on both the landline and mobile phones and can even send SMS on whatsapp.
Parents can meet the Principal on all working days. Teachers are available on every Fridays and whenever with appointment.
Parents can even contact the management members without any hesitation over phone, email or visit personally with a prior appointment.

9. How does the school deal with the bullying and misbehavior?

Ans: IISC follows Anti-bullying or anti- social behavior policy. Such errant students are firstly identified, counseled, isolated and finally the unremorseful student is removed from the school. During all this process, parents are informed and involved. IISC believes that our parents are our partners in the operation of the school.

10. What measures are taken for the protection of the girl child?

Ans: Reply: Although IISC school does not differentiate between the genders. However, the girl students are given utmost care in the school premises.
The Principal is an experienced counselor and is the first person to be approached. The teachers are trained to listen and observe all the children.
GCSC – Girl Child Security Committee is operating effectively.
The school environment encourages the children to share their concerns openly and frankly. Children are strictly taught to respect each other.

11. What is the age limit for admission in IISC?

The age for admission is as follows:

12. What is the procedure to leave the school due to parent’s transfer?

Ans: The school has provided a Transfer form in the Record Book issued to every student. The form should be filled and submitted in the office at the earliest.



Parent-Teacher Conference

  1. The cooperation and good will of the parents is an essential of an effective parent teacher relationship in order to provide maximum educational opportunities for children. The School needs the involvement of Parents in many of its activities.
  2. Parents are encouraged to bring positive suggestions for the improvement of academic standards.
  3. Parents shall not attempt to meet the Teachers when a class is in progress.
  4. Criticism of the teachers of the School in the presence of the Students must be avoided. Legitimate complaints should be brought to the notice of the Principal without delay.
  5. Parents have the responsibility to encourage modest, decent, and good dressing habits conforming to acceptable social etiquettes in children from early stages of their development.
  6. Attending the PTC (Parent-Teacher Conference) as well as other important functions in the School is a duty which parents owe to their children. Parents shall check the School Diary every day to take note of communication from the School
  7. Contained therein and also for homework given, or can also view them on the School’s web service.
  8. Any requests, complaints etc. should be given in writing at the School Office or online addressed with a copy to the Principal.
  9. Parents are requested to kindly verify with the teachers about the timings of special classes.
  10. Parents who are willing to volunteer for any school activities are requested to register their names with their areas of interest and available time frame with the Principal.
  11. Mobile Phones / Handsets are prohibited for students’ use in school. Use of mobile phones can cause distraction, misuse and other behavioral disturbances among students during their time in school.
